February 1999: Andrew C. Jones is "from the good ol' deep south of [Louisiana]." His main
love is poetry, but he also has written short fiction. His history is in the arts; He's spent
six years in theater. At his first posting here, he's in the process of getting into college.
His ultimate goal is to teach English, more specifically, literature and poetry. Andrew has
two poems published by The National Library of Poetry. He's working on a book of
poems, with hope of publication. Andrew further notes: "I hate the fact that poetry
has been put on the back burner, and like so many, I can't wait to see the day that
poetry will be as main stream as movies, but for some sad reason, I doubt it. But we will
all keep on fighting, that the poets of today will be written about in the books as the
poets, before us, have."
