March 2002: I was born in a mid-sized town in Southern Indiana in
September of 1968. From age six to eighteen, I grew up in a small town in the
same part of the state, near a forest where I spent much of my time with my
brother and my friends. When I was eleven, I fell in love with Walt Whitman,
thanks to the greatest teacher on the face of the earth. I earned a BA in
American Literature from a college in Ohio, where I met my husband, and where
I met my poetic mentor. Now I live in pretty much the same small town, only
it's in Ohio, near another forest where I spend much of my time with my
husband and my friends.
I very much invite comments and dialog on my poetry: annefoxbank@yahoo.com.
