September 2003: After studying the Greek and Latin classics for six
years at Jesuit colleges I became a naval officer. Afterwards, I've had some
experience as a private investigator. Without seriously seeking publication,
I've been writing book-length fiction -- striking for the leading edge in style,
speed and power. Working apart from literary associations, I only
discovered electronic publishing this summer. I first began to write short
stories this June. The first completed has just won honorable mention in
the Toasted Cheese online
"Midsummer Tale" contest.
