March 2001: I am twenty-seven years old, from The Netherlands,
and I have been writing all my life. There's a manuscript draft ready
and an American author has read it and thinks it has potential, but it's
only a first draft, so I need to make it perfect. I like English literature
better than my own language. It flows more and it has a better and
smoother pronunciation. I read a lot of English (American) novels. In
my daily life I work with children. Lots of my poetry is about children
and their confused feelings about growing up.
