October 2001: I am an amateur writer. As a child I wrote into
notebooks, different things I saw or experienced,
using imagination to enhance the dull parts. I
also enjoy nature and wildlife photography and
have had some photo's published. I have lived
in a small town in the Hudson Valley in New York
state for thirty-five years. I work for the D.O.D.
(Department of Defense) at U.S.M.A. at West Point.
I have recently become interested in writing again.
I did this some thirty years ago but have recently
become serious in improving my technique and
challenging myself in writing in genres I haven't
had the nerve to try -- such as mysteries and fiction.
My interests are varied, politics, debates, history
and writing.
