September 2002: Kevin Mooneyham is a performance poet from Eugene
Oregon. He is a former member of "Spoken Buzz," and is
currently petry director for the "Experiment." Besides previous
appearances here, his work has also appeared in Free Zone Quarterly,
(this) poetry website, Wings Online, Poetry Motel, Black Spring
Review, and Fireweed: Poetry of Western Oregon. He has performed
at the Seattle Poetry Festival, Inside/Out Arts Festival, and, with Spoken
Buzz, at Art and the Vinyard, the Eugene Saturday Market Mainstage, and as
featured readers at Red Sky Poetry Theater. He's also performed regularly at
2nd Sunday Open Poetry Read at Foolscap Books, Eugene Oregon.
"My aim in life is to 'do' poetry in every way I can find. Online, print,
open mics, slams, festivals, radio, video links, I haven't found a bad way to
share poetry yet. With that thought in mind, I try to create work that lives
both on the page and in live performance."
