March 2005: Ms. Nidadavolu Malathi (as known in her native
land, Andhra Pradesh, India) has been writing and publishing short
stories since early 1950s. She moved to the States in 1973 and has
been interested in studying the underlying commonalities in
different cultures. She has been translating and publishing eminent
Telugu fiction on her website, www.thulika.net since June 2001,
besides writing original fiction in Telugu and English. Recently, she
has been honored by the Telugu Association of North America in
Chicago, Illinois.
