NOVEMBER 2007: Malathi Nidadavolu is a reputable writer from
Andhra Pradesh, India. Her publishing credits include an anthology
of her Telugu stories, Nijaanikee Feminijaanikee Madhya,
1953-2003 (Vizianagaram, A.P.: BSR Foundation, 2005.), as
well as A Spectrum of My People: A Collection of Telugu
Stories from Andhra Pradesh (Jaico Pub.), which she
translated. She has two books currently at press: a critical study
entitled, Quiet and Quaint: Telugu women's writing,1950-
1975 (S. P. Telugu University Publications) and From my
Front Porch: An Anthology of Telugu Stories in English
(Sahitya Akademy Publications), also translated by Malathi.
