Naomi Hyatt
AT WRITEGALLERY (SM) SINCE OCTOBER 15, 2004

October 2004: Naomi's novel Lizzy is available at amazon.com, Barnes&Noble.com, or at all major online booksellers. Other completed novels soon to be published include: The House of Rueben, Dreams, Fears and Obsessions (In seven volumes), and Shining in the Dark. She has written volumes of articles published in UAW newsletters, Church Bulletins, and TheWriter'sPub eZine on the internet.

Naomi says that she is a fairly typical forty-something woman. She grew up with parents who had high expectations for her. Her father was a Free Will Baptist preacher, and her mother worked thirty-two years at the same job, farmed, sewed all the family's clothes. She tucked the children in at night under hand-made quilts. It gave Naomi a lot to live up to. "I think I have turned out pretty well. I like my life. I have three children, and I am married to a big, burly guy who inspires me. Like everyone else, I have my ups and downs, but I keep on going, trying to walk through this world full of weird, wacky people." Naomi lives in Northern California. She also has four grandchildren.
