Phyllis Paul Davis is semi-retired and lives and works as an innkeeper in her
partnership-owned bed & breakfast, The Isaac Hilliard House. A native of the Caribbean
Island of Grenada, Phyllis has lived in England, Italy and several U.S. states. Her traveling
experiences are extensive and include a three-week stay in China in 1997. Now, Phyllis likes to
meet and entertain the guests who come to her b-&-b. When asked about her twenty-
four-year corporate career at a major telecommunications company, she states that
"Corporate life for me was incredibly Bad Theatre." In 1987, Phyllis
published a collection of poems entitled "Aprori" dedicated to the memory of her
daughter, Trudi, who was struck by lightening in Colorado in 1981.
