June 2003: I am a journalist of twenty-six years standing and
have worked at The Statesman, Kolkata and New Delhi for
twenty-three years. I started out as a reporter and I left the
newspaper when I was the deputy bureau chief. For the last
three years I have been with The Asian Age, which has
seven editions including one in London. I am posted at the Kolkata
edition as the news coordinator.
