March 2002: I am a freelance writer living in
Washington, D.C. I hold a second job as a dog walker.
My most recently published work is an essay titled
"Around the Kitchen and Across Vermont"
appearing in the book, The Walker Within,
(Lyons Press, 2001). I also wrote a book about
bicycling across the United States titled Dogs,
Bicycles, and the American Dream, (Pinchpenny
Press, 1998).
