Tom Irish was born and lives in Moline, Illinois. At his October, 1998 appearance here, he
was twenty-three years old. He says: "I've never worked in telemarketing, I've never been in jail, I've
never been published, I've never visited New York. I guess the most exciting thing that's
ever happened to me was when I rode up an elevator with Steve Martin at a hotel in Florida
-- you know that's true because it's too mundane a detail for anyone to make up. A great
deal of my life recently has been spent in front of my computer, but I did go to a pretty wild
bachelor party once."
