Tommaso Avati lives in Rome, Italy. As of his first appearance here (April, 1998), he was
twenty-eight years old and had recently graduated college, having studied
Communication Science. "I love American literature, most of all minimalist
writers, such as Carver (of course) about whom I did my thesis. But, I love all
American culture." The publication at the WriteGallery(SM)
of "The Writer" and the three poems, marked Tommaso's English-language debut.
