When "Two Poems..." was posted, William was twenty-eight and lived in Decatur,
Illinois where he was a student, majoring in English-Secondary Education.
"I seriously began writing in the mid-nineties. I aspire to become a
well-known author." William has written many short stories and has begun
"a number of novels." William says, "I started writing poetry,
which developed from writing lyrics to music that inspired me, a couple of years ago.
Once, I enrolled into a Creative Writing class in College, I began crafting poetry from the
lyrics and so on. Over all, music has been and still is a huge influence on me while
writing poetry and stories."
