We Only Have a Moment Together
(September, 6 1997)
We only have a moment with each other
And then with the setting sun
We must bid our farewells.
For once a moment has passed
We cannot bring back to life
The departed we love.
We can only hold on to a hope
That they have gone to a better place.
Each moment is like an elusive treasure
For in a single moment there is time,
Yes enough time to be together.
But we must make each moment count
For once the moment has gone by
It can never return again.
And then it's too late
To wish for what might have been.
