Author Notes

I have always marveled at the build up of rain clouds in the skies. It's a strange phenomenon to experience the build up in heat and humidity followed by rising winds that usher in cooling temperatures and ominous dark clouds. Ever since I was a kid I have enjoyed watching nature battling it out, as it were, in the skies. And no matter how sophisticated or resourceful man becomes, when nature wants to make a point, we all stop from our busy schedules and pay attention.
