Some Strange Thing
So for a blink, can you casually bring
to your mind an enchanting dream.
Covered in laughter like a young boy's
smile caught in the circus scheme.
You say you are in love with him but
your kiss tells me you have no clue
what it means.
Exciting is the glow of a woman who touches her
breast to feel her heart beat.
Rich with the madness of love, she never
realizes it spells defeat.
So say to me, all of you who embrace love
again with no certainty of what lies ahead.
Patience is a forgotten blessing for a love
that leaves only the hero's dead.
