In Case You Didn't Know
Sean W. Tucker
[lancelot22@aol.com]
A voice upon a phone machine
our pictures on the wall
a cold and cruel reminder
of all that had to fall
A crushing blow to deal with
a pressing weight to bare
we bless the ones that toil
before and after there
We damn you, the responsible
we harden our resolve
and though busy for the moment
we'll hunt you one and all
We'll avenge as only we can do
when faced with all the facts
that with all our prayers and crying
we can't bring our loved ones back
So I tell you as a father
as an uncle, son and more
beware that haunting feeling
and the rapping at your door
You caught us unsuspecting
I suppose that much is true
but know that we are coming
and hell is coming too
