Protect Our President!

God, Protect our president, send every angel you can spare,
to guide him and encourage him with the uncertainties down here.
You know he is just human, he needs someone to understand,
the heartache and destruction that's sometimes caused by man.
So please God reassure him when the first plane left the sky,
you were on it with our loved ones and you never left their side.
In that moment filled with terror, you sent your angels from above,
to comfort your dear children and to guide them home with love.
Once more we need your angels, ten million maybe more,
to help protect our president as he marches us to war.
God take his hand and guide him to do what you think is best,
lead these cowards out of hiding and let our loved ones rest.
As I kneel here before you God and I gaze into the sky,
praying not just for our president but a nation as we cry.
Just let us stand together and with our president embrace,
to love, trust and most of all encourage regardless of our race.
