The garden, outside my house,
So far to reach, yet so close to see;
The lillies gather together, in their corner,
They whisper their secrets to one another;
By the wall, the pretty bluebells line up like soldiers,
They salute the passing clouds, above.
The garden, outside my house,
Dressed in emerald wear, looking into my bedroom window;
In the spring the birds and bees come to steal nectar,
When summer comes, the butterflies hover, blissfully;
In autumn the leaves dance on the greens,
When winter arrives, snow fills every part of my garden.
The garden, outside my house,
A precious gift to me I, always, treasure,
So beautiful that I have to keep...
Each day I hum to the flowers and sing to the grass,
Each night I wave goodnight to it, before sleep,
The garden, outside my house, I, dearly, love.
