You can cut-and-paste your work into a text area field below. Remember
the 5000-word limit for each work. If you are submitting two or three
prose pieces, it is best to send each separately. Submit no more
than three prose pieces per literary update.
For the second (and third) submission sent in the same session, simply
fill out your name and email address. If you are submitting poetry,
submit no more than six poems per literary update. Be sure you have
read all of the guideline information.
ONLY SUBMIT FOR CALLS THAT ARE ACTIVE ON THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES PAGE No other submissions will be read or responded to. A submission sent under the guise of a query letter will not be read or responded to. Query letters are to be as described in the sections below. They are to be real queries. Again, a submission masquerading as a query will be ignored. |

The more information you give us, the easier it will be for us to contact
you if some other situation arises for publication of your work, or if a problem arises. First of all, though we don't
insist on your real, legal name, we recommend that you provide it, even if only for us, internally. And, for many
reasons, email addresses can become inactive. If that is the only way we
have to contact you, and you have changed providers or no longer have email,
then we cannot contact you. And then we can't make a deal to publish your work in an anthology,
for example. When we look into the future, we see published anthologies.
Also be sure you have read the Submissions Guidelines and Copyright & Credits pages before you send this submission. By entering into the submission process you are legally agreeing to the terms laid out on these pages, whether you have familiarized yourself with them, or not. |
