Walking, talking, through a place
of hopes, fears, and needs
is a cynics daydream
Watching, observing,
overanalyzing every fault,
miscue, and chapter is a
cynics laughter
Thinking, drinking, smoking, moping
over life for a while
is a cynics smile
Loving, hating, fighting, kicking for
others insecurities to cash in on is
a cynics passion
Looking, searching, finding, needing
a meter for this poem is a
mad cynics groan!
