nioreh

It burns my heart and rocks my soul
Demons emerging from hidden dens
The tranquil beauty of life
burnt by the torrential blaze of drugs
Nothing is real
yet all things are forsaken
They vanish, I scare them away
during this ragged sleep of death
The mind abandons the soul,
exiled like the sanity of a king.
Inject the poison
Overtaking knowledge and peace,
With a burning desire for more.
Yet for a time, unknown to some,
It flows through me like water.
The surreal pleasure of disappearing angst
leaving me satisfied like nothing else on earth.
The pain floats away,
an angel taking me to heaven.
The demons I suffer are sent afar
fleeing from the embrace of perfection

"nioreh" is based on drugs and stuff like that. The first part contrasts the
second, the first being the bad and the second being the good parts of
drugs and how they feel. The title, "nioreh," is heroin backwards.
