Offer You

I came
You saw
I conquered
You came
I saw
You turned your face away
And I refused to attend
Your funeral service yesterday
Yeah you are spared the time
Yeah one less sorry face
To smile at challengingly
While holding my self under the belt
I am wondering how fast and how it felt
Did you listen to your last screams?
Like a seashell's patterned call
Or do you not remember any part of it at all
Maybe you'd rather save your questions
For judgement day
Brainstorm a few replies
To the reason you showed up
Early, in God's face as a surprise
Did you think about whether
He or any one else could take you in
No you just thought about
That feeling
As you slithered from your skin
I couldn't offer you
A kind word if it appeared
In the reservoirs of my sight
I didn't come to your funeral
But I sent flowers and a flashlight
I sent you light cause you never found it
While you visited the earth
I sent you light so that I'd find you
When it is time for your rebirth.
