This poem didn't take too long to get on paper. I am the kind
of person who likes ironic poetry; poetry that has paradoxes,
contradictions and makes you think. In this world of rush and noise
and work there is hardly time anymore for peace and quiet. This is
basically what I wrote about. On my website lifepoetry.cjb.net.
there's a very accurate comment on this poem, written by D. Webb
(from winepress.com.) He just about said it all.
Paradox/Silence

There's a paradox
when it comes to silence
even silence seems to speak
in clear and vocal cords
and when silence speaks
it says: be quiet...
