Torment

Look at my face
tell me what you see. . .
A pale face divulges your enigma
Gloomy eyes utter the pain of a bruised midst
Torments left scars on fragile cheeks
Your sweet mouth wherefrom screams sounded is silent
Now the anguish and bitter hatred are within
They are not depicted in your face
The absence of happiness and joy tell me the verity
You are no longer alive
Life has left you with your pain
Your trembling hands are as cold as ice
Emptiness embraces you
You hold on to it -- fore it is all you have.
Please stop trembling
Stop hurting
Stop the emptiness inside
Let me fill you with tenderness
Chase out the anguish and hatred
Live.
